Hailing from Orange County, I emerged from the Action Sports, Music and Fashion scene that rose from Southern California in the late 80's. With silkscreening as a hobby and job, I evolved into the Apparel industry and was urged to learn computer graphics as a tool and career path. Having many friends working for various apparel companies, I landed a job with Billabong/Hurley as a warehouse employee. In 6 months, I was moved to pre-production and 2 years later I became a full-time Apparel Designer. After 6 years with Hurley, I decided to transition to the East Coast and took a Sr. Designer position with Timberland in Stratham, New Hampshire. Unfortunately, this position was eliminated one year later due to relocation of the Design Team to London (New England was far too cold anyway). My departure from Timberland brought me back to Southern California where I accepted a Sr. Designer role with Quiksilver heading the Tony Hawk line. My time at Quiksilver was well spent and successful, not to mention my colleagues who are still close friends today. In 2007, after only one year at Quiksilver, I accepted the position of Sr. Apparel Designer for Adidas Originals in Portland, Oregon where I spent 6 years. Currently I am enjoying the coast again back in my home town of Huntington Beach and Im working as a Sr. Design Manager/ Design Director for an 89 year old apparel company named Barco.
